Back in the day, sailor hats were usually made of canvas and cotton. Today Ruslan Baginskiy reimagines this accessory in our favorite summertime material — natural straw — and decorates it with the hand-embroidered monogram.

Washing & storage
For your hat to hold its initial shape, stuff it with tissue paper and wrap the crown with paper while storing and transporting. We recommend not to transport a hat in a suitcase filled with other garments. Please note that the actual color of the item may be slightly different from the color represented on the website.
Delivery costs and times
All products are made in Ukraine and shipped from our facilities in Kyiv and Lviv, Ukraine. We offer international delivery with DHL Express or Nova Poshta Global (available for Poland). What is the history behind a sailor hat? From 1852, a flat cap became a common part of the navy military wear. 50 years later, a “dixie cup” cap appeared — made out of cotton, it was more comfortable and lightweight for summertime. Take care. Please be aware that our straw hats are made from natural straw that can slightly change its color due to long term sun exposure.
