This year Ruslan Baginskiy celebrates its 10th anniversary.
Among key turning points over the past decade — a win at the prestigious French ANDAM competition, creating hats for Beyoncé’s and Madonna’s world tours and designing headpieces for the British royal family. All milestones, that reflect the brand’s mission: to be a voice of modern Ukrainian identity on the global cultural stage.
The 10-year anniversary happenings began in Paris with the unveiling of 12 large-scale window displays and the opening of a dedicated RB shop-in-shop as part of an RB takeover at the Galeries Lafayette. The celebration then continued in Kyiv with an evening dedicated to gratitude.
The event brought together the brand’s friends, collaborators, and all those who have stood by the designer and his team throughout the years. Guests gathered for a sunset evening by the Dnipro River, overlooking Kyiv’s green hills. In a specially created pop-up space, a shared dinner featured a set menu of modern Ukrainian cuisine. The night was accompanied by a live musical performance on the bandura and sopilka, animating a modern set design traditional folk melodies.
“Every day, my mission is to show the world the beauty of Ukraine — to inspire love for our past and present in my own way. Because we love what we know. Thank you all for these 10 years together,” shared Ruslan Baginskiy.
