“The idea was to construct a sort of treasure chest. In objects we often collect our memories; a stone brought from a walk on the beach, a flower dried in a book. Our memories may fade but these objects encapsulate lived emotions. I’m fascinated by that process, by the question of how and why something becomes precious to us. What captivates our attention? And what keeps our memories safe? It’s about capturing beauty in a small precious thing and keeping it with you as a sort of time capsule or a talisman” shares Ruslan.
The “SKARBY/TREASURES” drop continues the brand’s DNA and ability to seamlessly blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary style – combining modern aesthetics with the intricate artistry of beadwork.
